Owner's Stateroom

We are big people, so this stateroom starts with a king size bed.  Fortunately, it is a big room and with the midship location has the full beam to use for accommodations.  Around the bed, we have been able to build in dresser drawers under the port light and under the book cabinet next to the forward door.  We also have a limited amount of hanging locker space in the corners.  Under the bed there are large drawers for bed linens and blankets.  We also get tall book cases on each side of the bed.  One side has a Furuno Navnet data station and remote VHF mike for keeping an eye out at night.

Owner's Head

In spite of all the room in the stateroom, we still have room for a large head.  The center piece is the 4' diameter round shower with frameless glass enclosure.  This is accompanied by a vessel sink on a maple countertop.  A large built in hamper helps keep clutter under control.

Mallory's Stateroom

Mallory owns the port stateroom.  It is set up with a full size bed against the aft wall and a twin bunk above her feet.  She has drawers under the bunk and on each side of the built in desk.  Lockers are located above the desk and bed and there is a hanging locker by the door.

Guest Stateroom

Our guests will use the forward stateroom with its queen size bed.  There are enough lockers for a long pleasant stay and direct access to the guest head.  Andy and Julia will enjoy this area when they come to visit.  We hope they'll visit for some long trips when they have time.

Primary Head

Heads in a large trawler can be spacious.  This one has a 3'x4' frameless glass shower, doors that can open from the guest room and latch open, an oversized toilet, and plenty of room around the sink.

Ship's Office

Taking an idea from sailboat nav-stations, the office is directly off the stairs and open to the companionway.  We think this will allow someone working in the office to still be aware of what's going on in the galley, but still have some privacy.  The office will have a docking station for our laptops to share, laser printer, and a wide variety of communications connections.
